1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) set out below will govern the collection, protection and processing of your personal data that is collected or submitted, by using the website getwiifi.com (the “Website”) (regardless of where you visit it from).
The Website is owned and operated by GetWiFi, LDA, a company registered in Portugal under registration number 517302322 (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Please read this Policy carefully. By submitting your acceptance on the relevant notifications posted on the Website, you are deemed to have read, understood, agreed to and consented to the Policy.
The Company may from time to time modify and/or amend this Privacy Policy to reflect the Company’s current privacy practices. When the Company makes changes to this Privacy Policy, the Company will revise the “updated” date stated in the first page of this Privacy Policy. The Company encourages you to periodically review this Policy to be informed about how the Company is protecting your information. The new version of this Policy shall come into effect from the moment it is posted at the Website, you confirm your consent to comply with the terms and conditions of the Policy in its current version. The Company recommends you to review the Policy more often in order to make sure that you are aware of the amendments hereto and understand the terms. If you do not agree with the terms of the Policy amended by the Company you should stop using the Website.
The present version of the Privacy Policy has come into effect on August, 2023 and shall remain valid until approval by the Company of a new version.

– contains information about when we share your personal data with other third parties (for example, our service providers or suppliers).
3. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT YOU THE COMPANY COLLECTS

The Company obtains your personal data and other information about you if you choose to provide it. The present Privacy Policy applies to all personal data and other information the Company processes about you.
In order to provide you with access to the GetWiFi Services the Company collects personal data when you log in to the GetWiFi Service or pass through the authorization process on the Website in the “Sign in” section.
The Company may collect personal data via forms sections of the Company’s Website:
information you provide through “Contact Us” sections, or other similar section/function on the Website shall be used by the Company to respond to or handle your enquiries, comments, suggestions or matter, including any necessary follow-up work in connection with discharging the Company’s statutory functions and responsibilities, and for statistical and service monitoring purposes.
The personal data will not be used for any other purposes, disclosed or transferred without your consent unless such use, disclosure or transfer is permitted or required by law.
In some cases where you have sent the certain query or request, or complaint to the Company, we may store your email address temporally until the Company receives confirmation of the information you provided via an email address or required by the applicable law.
The Company collects information about you while you visiting the Website.
When you visit the Website, the Company records your visit only as a “hit”, which may show your Internet Protocol (IP) address and the pages you have visited. The Company doesn’t collect any personally identifiable information under this circumstance. The information is used for the purposes of compiling statistical records, and for maintaining and improving the Website.
The Company collects information about all the Website visitors collectively, such as what areas visitors visit more frequently and what services visitors access more. The Company only uses such information anonymously and in the aggregate. This information helps the Company to determine what is most beneficial for you, and how the Company can continually create a better overall Website experience for you.
We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
4. PURPOSE OF USE BY THE COMPANY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
The Company uses personal and other information about you to provide you with a more professional service which is tailored to suit your needs.

- Provide you with access to the Internet via hotspot as described in GetWiFi Terms of Use placed at https://my.getwifi.com;
- Monitor, develop and improve the Website, GetWiFi Service, and other Company’s services;
- Ensure that the content from the Website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer;
- Carry out the Company’s obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and the Company;
- Keep the Website safe and secure;
- Process and deal with any complaints or inquiries made by you.
Where requested by you the Company will:
- Send you and keep you updated with information about the Company’s services by telephone or e-mail; and/or
- Send you marketing or promotion information by telephone or e-mail.
To opt-out of receiving any such communications, you can use the facility contained in any such communication or you can email the Company at the email address below or write to the Company by mail to the address below stating that you do not wish to receive further communications from the Company.
5. TERM OF RETENTION BY THE COMPANY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

You have the following rights in terms of your personal data we hold about you:
Receive access to your personal data. This enables you for example to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it. In order to receive such data, you shall provide your phone number at https://my.getwifi.com/gdpr/mydata.
Request correction (rectification) of the personal data we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected.
Request erasure of your personal information, known as the ”right to be forgotten”. This enables you to ask us to erase your personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
Object to processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. If you lodge an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms.

We may use your Identity (full name, username, marital status, title, date of birth, gender), Contact (billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone number), Technical, Usage (details about your IP address, your browser type, version, time zone, setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devises you use to access the Website) to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you (we call this marketing).
